Purpose
The R and R Project Board of Advisors will be expanded to allow a large Foundation review board to recognize, between the Advisory and Directors Boards, sufficient skills and experience to warrant confidence in the management of a multi million dollar Grant requests. The Project will continue as work on current projects unfold to look for possible additions to the Advisory Board who can help us achieve the Projects goals. Organizationally the members of the Advisory Board will serve as consultants to the Project.

Brief biographies and pictures of team members will be added below as they are completed, presented in alphabetical order. 

Jimmy W. Adams, DO, DAAPM Physician / Owner: Active Physical Medicine and Pain Center, PLLC Clinical Professor, Pikeville School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Tom Best: Best Resources /Texas Institute of NLP, San Antonio TX. Tom is the co-director and master trainer for Best Resources NLP centers in Hawaii, Arizona, and Texas.  He is an international NLP trainer for NLP Centers International.  He has designed and delivered NLP trainings for NLP of California, Western States Training Associates, Centro Mexicano De PNL in Mexico, NLP of Ohio, Chicago Institute of NLP, NLP of Texas, NLP Institute of Los Angeles, NLP Canada, Lima Peru Center for NLP, Resources PNL of Belgium, In Mind NLP Center the Netherlands. He has also served as a Spanish language interpreter and translator for guest trainers.  He has provided NLP practitioner certification trainings, master practitioner certification trainings, and NLP trainer trainings, and specialty workshops on a variety of topics including stress reduction, grief, phobia and trauma recovery, mediation, and conflict resolution.  He has been in private practice as a counselor and consultant since 1984 with 24 years of experience working with individuals and organizations providing effective personal change work based on NLP.  He has a BS in cultural anthropology (1984).  He is on the board of the National Association of Neurolinguistic Programming and a member of the National Association of Neurolinguistic Programming.  He appeared in the 2002-2004 editions of Whose Who in America.   

Richard Bolstad: New Zealand NLP. Dr. Bolstad is the author of the book RESOLVE: a New Model of Therapy (2002).  This is a book about utilizing NLP in psychotherapy and it has been highly acclaimed in the NLP community.  He has taught his RESOLVE model internationally including in postwar Bosnia-Herzegovina.  Dr. Bolstad is a trainer with the International NLP Association and five other international training organizations.  He has a doctorate in clinical hypnotherapy.  He is a member of the New Zealand association of psychotherapists.   He has authored previous books including Transforming Communication (1998), with Margot Hamblett.  This text is utilized in a number of degree level programs training counselors and health professionals.  He also authored The Structure of Personality (2001) with Bob Bodenhamer, Michael Hall, and Margot Hamblett.   His articles have appeared in numerous journals. 

Shelly Rose Charvet: Success Strategies Consulting, Ontario Canada. Ms. Charvet is known worldwide as a pioneer in using the LAB profile to understand and influence below-conscious motivations.  Her first book on the subject Words that Change Minds; Mastering the Language of Influence is an international best seller and is available in many languages.  Her other best seller is the audio program Presenting Ideas to Skeptical People.  Ms. Charvet is a certified NLP trainer, a certified speaking professional by the International Federation for Professional Speakers, the 2009 president of the Canadian Association for Professional Speakers (CAPS), and the founding president of the Canadian Association of NLP (CANLP).   Ms. Charvet helps organizations around Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and Europe solve their most difficult communication challenges.  Her articles on communication and influencing appear regularly in North American and European publications.  She has also done research on below-conscious triggers and communication.  She has done work including business consultation focusing on customer services, negotiation, and communication.  Shelle is bilingual in English and French and can work in Spanish and has a basic knowledge of German.  She is currently working in Canada, U.S.A, Mexico, France, Germany, The UK, Romania, and Italy on marketing, branding, positioning, and persuasion issues. 

Tom Dotz: Director of NLP Comprehensive in Denver and one of the first Institute supporters of the R & R Project. Tom Dotz is President of NLP Comprehensive in Colorado.  He acquired NLP Comprehensive in 1998 after selling the NLP Institute of California, which he had founded in 1990 and grew to the largest organization of its kind in the U.S.  Tom is dedicated to the continued development of NLP Comprehensive, one of the most valuable and respected NLP training institutes. Beginning with adding e-commerce to the NLP Comprehensive web site in 1998, to going digital with audio and video titles, he continues to add new innovations to the structure, trainings, and products the company produces.  Tom has studied NLP since 1978, and is certified as an NLP Master Practitioner and Health Practitioner.

Robert Gregory PhD: Professor, Massey University, New Zealand, retired.

hall-2-2007L. Michael Hall:  L. Michael Hall founded the field of Neuro-Semantics and co-founded the International Society with Dr. Bob Bodenhamer.   As a modeler of positive psychological experience, he has modeled numerous experiences including resilience, creativity, writing, leadership, coaching, self-actualization.  Dr. Hall has created most of the models that make up Neuro-Semantics -Meta-States, Matrix Model, etc. and he co-created the Axes of Change model and the Meta-Coach Training system with Michelle Duval.  In the field of NLP, Dr. Hall took his certifications in NLP as a Master Practitioner and Trainer with Richard Bandler and then worked with Richard Bandler, writing several books for him (Time for a Change, 1997) as well as The Spirit of NLP (1996) and Becoming More Ferocious as a Presenter (1997). In the area of Self-Actualization, he discovered the secret history of NLP in the Human Potential Movement, and then developed several Self-Actualization models based on Maslow’s pioneering efforts in creating the paradigm shift in the field of psychology including the Self-Actualization Quadrants and the Self-Actualization Matrix.  He earned his doctorate (Union Institute University, Cincinnati) in cognitive-behavioral psychology with a special emphasis on psycho-linguistics.  His dissertation integrated four psychotherapy models (NLP, REBT, RT/CT, and LT) using General Semantic formulations.  He earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (Regis University, Denver). Dr. Hall is a prolific writer, having authored 40 books in the field of NLP, many best sellers.

Joe Mathey MD: Former Medical Director Corning Inc.

Howard McClintic: Executive Director of the CTC Foundation, Washington, D.C. Howard McClintic is the first executive director of the Concurrent Technologies Foundation (CTC Foundation) headquartered in Washington DC.  He joined the foundation in October 1999.  The Concurrent Technologies Foundation has 20 offices nationwide.  The goal of the foundation is to improve the quality of life for the general public through unique economic development initiatives that involve the private and public sectors as well as nonprofit organizations.  Prior to joining the CTC Foundation Mr. McClintic was the executive director of the Jefferson Energy Foundation for 13 years whose mission was to inform and educate the public about the nation’s energy choices and risk.  He developed some 21 hours of programming for PBS at Jefferson and five hours more at the CTC Foundation and even organized five two day conferences, three national energy summits, and two energy in Australia summits, all held at the National Press Club.  In the mid 1980s Mr. McClintic was a staff officer at the National Academy of Sciences Board of Energy and Mineral Resources for four years where he oversaw the publication of two reports.  Prior to his work at the academy he worked in NY and Washington for several energy policy related consulting firms.  He has a BA in political science and economics at George Washington University and has interned for U.S. Congressman John Heinz from his district in Pittsburgh, PA.  

Cathy Modrall: NLP Coach and trainer.

Markku Ojanen, PhD: Professor of Psychology, University of Tampere, Finland.

Peter Schutz:  Magister,Vienna University, Vienna Med School; Mr. Schütz is the managing director and senior trainer of the Austrian Training Center for NLP and NLPt (1985-To Present).  He has done NLP/NLPt training for all professional levels in both business and coaching contacts in Austria, Poland, Finland, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, and Russia.  He is a certified health psychologist and teaching psychotherapist in NLPt and group psychotherapy.  He is a business mediator, a management consultant, and teaching coach/counselor.  He is a professional trainer for the European association of NLPt.  He is also an EMDR consultant for EMDR Europe.  He has a history of university teaching and lecturing including at Vienna University, lecturing in the areas of medical psychology and communications training, group dynamics, and NLP.
